It is now only two days until our Bridal Flower Open Day which takes place here on Saturday 19th March from 10am to 4pm.
We have planned some beautiful arrangements for our displays in a multitude of colours and our cold store will be full of flowers so if you are getting married in the coming months and need some inspiration for your flowers please do come along.
No appointment is necessary and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
It seems unbelievable that it is now almost a week since our Bridal Flower Open Day and for the past few days we have had our ‘wholesaler’s hats’ back on fulfilling all the orders we have received in the build up to the Easter weekend.
We estimate that a staggering 65 Brides attended our Open Day and suffice to say we are more than delighted with this. As always it was such a fun day with everyone commenting on how lovely it is to see so many varieties of flowers and such beautiful arrangements and it is always so pleasing to hear such great comments about our work.
We are now virtually fully booked with Saturday morning consultations for the next few weeks but if you still wish to make an appointment to meet with one of us do let us know as we can always squeeze more in!
We are gradually working through all the quote requests and will be back in touch with you as soon as we can and look forward to working with you in the build up to your wedding.
If you were unable to attend the Open Day we have another one planned for Saturday 26th September but in the meantime hope you enjoy some of the pictures we took last weekend
We are thrilled to announce that we have been nominated for the “Guides for Brides” Five Star Service Awards 2015. The awards have been designed to reward businesses within the wedding industry who continue to deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction.
In nominating us our customer wrote this lovely review which we greatly appreciate
“They were very professional in everything they did. They were transparent in their costs, polite, courteous and timely. The quality, colour and presentation of our flowers for both venue and individuals was second to none…Price for this quality of service was excellent too.”

We simply could not wait another day to share this lovely testimonial and the accompanying stunning photographs sent into us recently by Kelly & Sam. Messages like this really do make us all feel so proud of all that we do
“My partner and I found Bridal Flowers Direct on a Google search, after speaking with several other florists. We had a clear vision of the type of them we wanted, and we had found it difficult to find a company that really understood This.
Our theme was ‘english country garden’ and we had decorated jam jars for individual flowers and candles. The idea was to have a sea of flowers across the top table.
I had originally ordered several different types of flowers from Bridal FlowersDirect, without really discussing it in depth (my mistake) so I was delighted to receive a phone call from Sally, advising us that the flowers we had chosen were not going to be the best choice for our theme. Sally then went on to advise what flowers would create the biggest impact, and I can honestly say that everything she advised was perfect. They really took an interest in the theme of our day, and offered invaluable advice that ensured that our special day, looked beautiful.
Bridal Flowers Direct will now be the only company I go to for flowers on a large scale… And I have recommended them to several people, as well as guests on the day who couldn’t compiment the flowers enough.
Staff were all friendly and helpful, and even pandered to my overbearing worrying about whether the flowers would ‘droop’ (which they didn’t for a whole week) which makes a big difference when you are a worried bride!!
Thank you once again Bridal Flowers Direct, for a gold star service & amazingly reasonable prices 🙂
Kelly & Sam”

Not one or two but three lovely testimonials from recent Brides received today – always such a pleasure to receive them and to know that our flowers continue to delight all those who see them.
I just wanted to drop you a line to say how delighted we were with the flowers and beautiful bouquets that you supplied for my daughter’s wedding. They were exactly what Rosemary wanted and all the flowers were much admired by the guests.
With best wishes,
“Sally and all at Nursery Fresh – thank you for everything.
When we walked into the Barn on our wedding day we were blown away. The flower arrangements were just what we wanted. The bouquets and buttonholes were perfect too. Thanks again!
Leighton & Gemma xx”
“Hi Sally and all the team!
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for doing all the flowers for my wedding last Saturday.
They were absolutely gorgeous and I loved them! The flowers were stunning and everyone has said how fantastic they looked. The colours went really well with the theme and looked amazing against the bridesmaid dresses.
We really can’t thank you enough for all your hard work! Even after a week the bouquets are still looking fab!
Thank you so much!
Jemma & Dave Xx”
Always lovely to receive photographs from our Brides and here are a few from a wedding in July. Stunning photographs courtesy of ASRPHOTO Portrait & Wedding Photography.
Following the wedding, the Bride’s Mother sent us this lovely email –
Just to say that the flowers on Saturday were absolutely perfect! They complemented the colours of the dresses and our garden by the sea beautifully. I have sent just a few photos to show you but there are many more lovely ones………
Many thanks to you and Clare and all the other girls”
Followed by an email from the Bride accompanying the photographs –
“As mum has previously said, thank you so much for our beautiful flowers. They were exactly what we envisaged and were really beautiful! I was quite sad to throw my bouquet!!”
If we have supplied your wedding this year and you have yet to send us some photographs please do so.
As we draw breath from an extremely busy weekend in which we supplied flowers to 10 weddings and prepare ourselves for another busy week just a few photographs which we thought we would share with you.
Starting with some of the bouquets – all in varying colours which proves we can supply flowers to suit all colour schemes and themes.
And some very pretty buttonholes, corsages, wands and hair circlets
And finally some stunning venue arrangements
Today is the 3rd Anniversary of the day we moved to our current premises in Horndean. A big thank you to all the Brides and their families who have supported us along the way – it has been a pleasure working with you all and helping to make your wedding day so special.
As if to mark the occasion this morning we received this email from a recent Bride –
The day was more than anyone could have wished for. We are truly blessed!
Thank you for your help

We could not resist showing these lovely photographs from one of the weddings we supplied over the Bank holiday weekend. The Bride had chosen beautiful peonies and English grown Sweet Peas interspersed with Ammi for her bouquet. The wedding took place at a Sopley Mill near Christchurch in Dorset where the Bride arranged her own flowers in assorted vintage china using a combination of white Larkspur, purple Limonium, blue Delphinium, ivory Spray Roses, pink Phlox, Ammi, lilac Veronica, Tanacetum Daisies, mixed pastel shades of Sweet Peas and white and pale pink Peonies. Absolutely perfect for an afternoon tea themed reception in the English countryside. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Longley and wishing you both every future happiness
