It is always a pleasure when we are sent photographs from a wedding we have supplied and this wedding was no exception. Katie and Liam were married on a gloriously sunny 4th July at their local church followed by a reception in a marquee in her parent’s garden. With Bridesmaids wearing lemon dresses, Katie wished to keep all the flowers white and picked Hydrangeas to compliment the time of year and the garden setting of their wedding reception. The flower girls carried bouquets of Gypsophila and wore matching hair circlets.
Venue flowers were kept simple with jugs of white Hydrangeas in the centre of each of the tables and clusters of Hydrangea filled jam jars along the top table.

Last Saturday was our Bridal Flower Open Day which was attended by in excess of 50 Brides / Grooms and their families. We were inundated with enquiries and now have a busy few weeks compiling quotes and meeting with couples who booked appointments for consultations with us. It was lovely to see so many people and we were also delighted to be joined by local companies Eliza Mabel, Queen Bees Treats, Carro’s Cakes, Hana Venn Photography and Quaint and Quirky Event Hire who all loved being part of the day.
Our Bridal Flower Open Days are a great opportunity to view an extensive range of Bridal Party and Venue Arrangements and a wide range of cut flowers suitable for weddings. Feedback from those who attended was that it is so useful to be able to see flowers ‘in the flesh’ so to speak and to be able to look at and hold bouquets of differing sizes and shapes.
We are grateful to all those who attended the Open Day but if you were unable to make it, our next one will take place on Saturday 28th March 2015.
In the meantime here are just a few pictures from last weekend
With the every increasing use and popularity of Gypsophila in wedding arrangements the pictures below show the stunning simplicity of candelabras decorated with nothing but this delicate flower. These arrangements were all lined up at The Royal Beach Hotel, Southsea last Saturday prior to being placed on guest tables for a couples wedding reception following their recent marriage abroad. The candelabras can either be purchased or hired from us together with the circular mirrored plates they are stood on.
Northbrook Park near Farnham was the setting for the wedding of Alex and Chris on Saturday 6th April.
Watched over by the resident peacocks Clare set up the ornate Gypsophila arrangements which were to adorn the venue.
Whilst many of the arrangements had been prepared at our premises, the mantelpiece arrangement had to be constructed in situe.
Below is a selection of photographs taken during the set up.
Congratulations to Alex and Chris on their marriage.
