We are extremely lucky to be located in an area which has so many beautiful wedding venues and one such venue is Southdowns Manor.
Located in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this stunning exclusive use venue is the perfect choice for your wedding.
Whilst the venue can cater for up to 150 guests, it is also suitable for smaller, more intimate weddings and the friendly professional team ensure the smooth running of your wedding right from the initial planning stages to the end of your ‘big’ day.
As a preferred supplier we are delighted to regularly work with couples marrying at Southdowns Manor. The venue is a blank canvas when it comes to flower choices and we have supplied everything from classic and formal to more rustic and relaxed arrangements.
We have recently received photographs from two Southdowns Manor weddings we supplied in December 2017 which show examples of different styles of work.
Katherine and Steve requested that all their flowers work around the rose gold theme they had chosen. Katherine’s bouquet consisted of ivory Garden Roses, Sweet Avalanche and Earl Grey Roses, white Ranunculas with silver grey tones being picked up in the Trailing Amaranthus, Senecio and Eucalyptus Populus foliage. The two Bridesmaid’s carried single stems of ivory Garden Roses which were bound with rose gold wire. Buttonholes were made with ivory spray Roses with foliage to compliment the Bridal bouquet and were also bound with rose gold wire. Katherine had meticulously sprayed a selection of jars and bottles with rose gold paint which we filled with a selection of flowers to match the Bridal Party Arrangements and then placed in the centre of each of the guest tables. Garlands of Eucalyptus Populus foliage and the smallest LED lights we have ever seen were used to adorn signage placed around the venue and wooden crates in the entrance hall.
Following their wedding we received this lovely email from Katherine and Steve –
” We both want to thank you soooo much for all of your hard work on our wedding day! The flowers were stunningly beautiful & the decor you created was incredible! I wish you could’ve seen our reaction when we saw everything you had done! My bouquet was absolutely perfect, you honestly did such an amazing job & we are so thankful! Right from the beginning you’ve been so helpful every step of the way!
We’ve had a house full of flowers over Christmas, I loved it!
Many thanks & much love, Katherine & Steve xxx”

Nikki and Mike chose flowers in shades of ivory, blue and silver for their 28th December wedding. Nikki’s bouquet was created using Avalanche Roses, ivory spray Roses, blue Eryngium and Gypsophila with Silver Brunia, Senecio, silver Pine Cones and Eucalyptus Populus foliage providing the accents of silver. Bridesmaid’s carried smaller versions of the Bridal bouquet and all the buttonholes consisted of a selection of the same flowers including mini silver pine cones in the buttonhole worn by the Groom. Silver votives filled with Gypsophila and blue Eryngium surrounded the crystal tea light holders supplied by the Venue and a garland of foliage interspersed with votives and hurricane lamps ran along the length of the top table.
Despite it being December, Nikki and Mike were blessed with a beautiful day weather wise and the amazing photos courtesy of Lucy Lou Photography highlight the way the flowers truly complimented the time of year
If you wish to see more examples of our work and discuss your own wedding flowers why not come along to our Bridal Flower Open Day which takes place on Saturday 17th March at our premises in Horndean from 10am – 4 pm
