On a blistering hot July day, we attended the wedding of our very own Tasha and her fiancé Adam
Tasha and Adam held their wedding in the grounds of the farm of a family friend and Tasha’s meticulous planning and attention to detail was evident throughout the day
Tasha had chosen flowers in a selection of pale peachy pinks and mint greens to tie in with the colours of the Bridesmaid’s and Flower Girl’s dresses
Beautiful loose and natural hand tied bouquets of David Austin ‘Charity’ Roses, ‘Ador Avalanche’ Roses, ‘Galina’ & ‘Bombastic’ Spray Roses, green Lisianthus, white Astilbe, Thlaspi Green Bell, berried Eucalyptus Populus & Rosemary were carried by the Bride and her adult Bridesmaids whilst her Flower Girl carried a wand decorated with the same flowers and wore a hair circlet of Rosemary and Waxflower. Tasha wore a hair crown of ‘Galina’ & ‘Bombastic’ Spray Roses, Thlaspi Green Bell, Rosemary & berried Eucalyptus Populus foliage
Milk churns with a selection of the same flowers plus white Delphiniums, white Larkspur and ‘Wedding Rose’ Roses were placed at the head of the aisle with the Bride and Groom stood in front of an arch decorated with the same flowers and foliage. Beer bottles filled with flowers were placed on log slices beside hay bales along the length of the aisle
The tables in the marquee were decorated with central table runners of Eucalyptus Nicholi and berried Eucalyptus Populus, Rosemary and Soft Ruscus interspersed with clusters of flowers to match the Bridal Party Flowers. Hoops of the same foliage were hung from the ceiling of the marquee and a step ladder and wooden crates decorated with flower filled bottles provided further decoration
The wedding cake was dressed with Roses and Eucalyptus and placed on a large wooden log slice
Despite the intense heat it was the most amazing day from start to finish and we wish Tasha and Adam every future happiness

In the meantime a lovely photo to share with you from one of our October Brides which beautifully showcases her stunning natural look bouquets
Liz originally contacted us to discuss cut flower supply only for her wedding which was taking place at Lower Grange Farm in Kent in July. During the course of the conversation we mentioned our Bridal Flower make up service and although the wedding was taking place away from our delivery area, Liz decided that she could organise for a family member to collect the Bridal Party Arrangements on their way to the wedding and we would then courier the cut flowers directly to the venue earlier in the week so she had them in plenty of time to fill the jars she had collected and decorated.
After several emails and phone calls the order was finalised and the photos sent to us by Liz show the beautiful end results.
This is a perfect example of the way in which DIY Brides can create their own venue arrangements whilst leaving us to make the bouquets, buttonholes and corsages which alleviates some of the stress in the days before the wedding.
If you are interested in us providing a similar service for your wedding, please do get in touch – we are always happy to discuss all the options available to you and chat through any of your ideas.

Apologies for the lack of recent posts but we seem to have been swept off our feet all Summer ……..
Whilst we spend most of the summer months putting together Bridal Party and Venue arrangements for Brides who wish to take advantage of our full wedding service there are some Brides who wish to be more creative and ‘hands on’ with their wedding flowers so ask us to supply just the flowers they require. In these cases, we are always happy to offer any advice needed regarding flower varieties and the quantities which are likely to be required to create their arrangements.
Lorna was one such Bride, who in August 2015, put together all the arrangements for her wedding and it is lovely to see we have been mentioned in an article on the blog of Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. Please click on the link below to see pictures from the wedding and to read the lovely comments from Lorna.
If you are a DIY Bride looking to make all or some of your wedding flower arrangements do get in touch. If you only wish to make your venue arrangements, we are happy to quote for making the Bridal Party Arrangements which may alleviate some of the stress!!
What beautiful weather for last weekend’s couples – fingers crossed it is a sign of things to come for the rest of the Summer.
On Saturday we made our first trip to the Elvetham Hotel, near Fleet in Hampshire – a very stately 19th century mansion set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Whilst the ceremony took place in the Oak Room, the wedding breakfast was held in the Conservatory overlooking the grounds which was perfect for such a sunny early summer day. White Hydrangeas, pink Ranunculas and blush Roses were all combined to create arrangements very in keeping with the setting and the time of year.
Yesterday was the wedding of Chloe and Soheil at Southdowns Manor – we are delighted to be a preferred supplier at this beautiful venue located on the Hampshire/ Sussex border. Blush pink Sweet Avalanche Roses and pale blue Delphiniums were combined with Gypsophila for Chloe’s bouquet and the table centrepieces with bouquets of just Gypsophila for her 6 Bridesmaids and the pew ends. Southdowns Manor is a complete blank canvas for couples to select any colour scheme or theme and the flowers chosen by Chloe and Soheil were perfect for both the time of year and the venue.
