What beautiful weather for last weekend’s couples – fingers crossed it is a sign of things to come for the rest of the Summer.
On Saturday we made our first trip to the Elvetham Hotel, near Fleet in Hampshire – a very stately 19th century mansion set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Whilst the ceremony took place in the Oak Room, the wedding breakfast was held in the Conservatory overlooking the grounds which was perfect for such a sunny early summer day. White Hydrangeas, pink Ranunculas and blush Roses were all combined to create arrangements very in keeping with the setting and the time of year.
Yesterday was the wedding of Chloe and Soheil at Southdowns Manor – we are delighted to be a preferred supplier at this beautiful venue located on the Hampshire/ Sussex border. Blush pink Sweet Avalanche Roses and pale blue Delphiniums were combined with Gypsophila for Chloe’s bouquet and the table centrepieces with bouquets of just Gypsophila for her 6 Bridesmaids and the pew ends. Southdowns Manor is a complete blank canvas for couples to select any colour scheme or theme and the flowers chosen by Chloe and Soheil were perfect for both the time of year and the venue.
What an exceptionally busy week it has been and it seems hardly possible that it is already almost a week since our Bridal Flower Open Day.
We were inundated with visitors all day which was so pleasing to see. It was such a pleasure to meet up with couples who have already booked us to supply the flowers for their wedding and to catch up with couples we have previously met at wedding fayres and who were visiting our premises for the first time and who would now like us to quote for their 2016 and 2017 weddings.
For all of you who are still waiting to hear back from us with your quote or re-quote we apologise for the delay. Generally speaking we endeavour to get these out within the week but our Easter weekend weddings have naturally had to take priority but we will be back in touch next week.
Our diary is now pretty fully booked with consultations for the next few weekends but if you would still like to book a consultation to discuss your wedding flowers with us do please get in touch.
Below are just a few snapshots of the Open Day which we hope you will enjoy. If you were unable to make the Open Day last weekend out next one is scheduled to take place on Saturday 15th October 2016.
We are always delighted to also be joined at our Open Days by some other local wedding suppliers we work very closely with and the photographs below taken by Adam De Ste-Croix of Sainte-Croix Wedding Photography show our flowers and their products beautifully

We wish you all a very Happy Easter weekend and look forward to working with you in the lead up to your weddings
It is now only two days until our Bridal Flower Open Day which takes place here on Saturday 19th March from 10am to 4pm.
We have planned some beautiful arrangements for our displays in a multitude of colours and our cold store will be full of flowers so if you are getting married in the coming months and need some inspiration for your flowers please do come along.
No appointment is necessary and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
It may currently be snowing outside but these lovely sunny pictures taken last September have certainly ‘warmed us up’ on what is a far from Spring day.
Jenny & Henry were married at Thorney Island Church followed by a marquee reception in Jenny’s parent’s garden. Whilst we made all the Bridal Party Arrangements, Jenny created her own table centrepieces using flowers supplied by us. This is a part of our service which many Brides take advantage of and it is always lovely for us to see the beautiful arrangements they have created.
Jenny had requested predominantly ‘country’ style flowers with accents of blue to tie in with the Bridesmaid’s dresses and the coastal setting of their wedding.
We were delighted to see this lovely review of our services written by Jenny –
“Bridal Flowers Direct did an amazing job with our wedding flowers – I have no clue about flowers at all but they were able to take my vague ideas and produce the most perfect bouquets and flowers for arranging, whilst remaining flexible about our changing requirements. I cannot thank them enough! The whole process was very easy and we felt excellent value for money too.”

It is always lovely to receive testimonials from our Brides but to see us mentioned in a wedding blog is very special.
We supplied the flowers for the wedding of Vanessa and James at Gate Street Barn, Surrey last August and Vanessa had been a regular blogger on ‘So You’re Getting Married’ in the lead up to her wedding.
In her final post, written after her wedding, Vanessa praised the work of many of the suppliers she had hired for her wedding and we are delighted to have been included

Today we have received this lovely testimonial from one of our November 2015 wedding couples. These are always so lovely to read and we greatly appreciate such lovely comments.
“I can’t recommend Bridal flowers enough. They were welcoming and so friendly. They worked to our budget and the flowers were just beautiful I couldn’t have asked for better! Whilst I was getting quotes I found some florists very pushy as well as expensive but with Bridal flowers this was just not the case. They got everything perfect and I can’t thank them enough!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

During the cold winter months it is always lovely to look back on weddings from the previous Summer and we are delighted to share with you these stunning photographs from the July 2015 wedding of Victoria and Alex which took place at Farnham Castle in Surrey. Victoria had requested that the flowers tie in with her pale blue and white colour scheme and our flowers were even joined by goldfish on the guest tables which was definitely a first for us!
