Earlier in the year we were delighted to take part in a photo shoot which took place in the grounds of Titchfield Great Barn, an up and coming wedding venue near Fareham, Hampshire. The photo shoot was a collaboration of local businesses working together to show case their own particular products or services as well as providing inspiration for anyone planning a similar themed wedding or event.
In keeping with the theme of the event – ‘Rustic, Spring, French Style’ we made a selection of bouquets and table arrangements in shades of yellow, cream and white. By combining Spray Roses, Stocks, Tanacetum Daisies, Craspedia and Gypsophila with lovely silver grey Eucalyptus leaves we were able to create arrangements which truly reflected both the theme of the photoshoot and the rustic setting of the Barn. We also supplied the bicycle props which looked stunning decorated with a selection of the same flowers as did all our vintage style bottles which when filled with flowers are always perfect for events at a setting such as this.
Whilst we have previously posted some of the photographs; below is a greater selection from those taken on the day and as we regrettably head closer to Autumn we thought the yellow colour palette would be a lovely reminder of long hot Summer days. The photographs are simply stunning and highlight the talented wedding suppliers this area has to offer.
Another collaborative photoshoot is planned in the next few weeks and whilst our lips are sealed on any further details I can assure you it will be equally as stunning ….. watch this space ……

Always lovely to receive photographs from our Brides and here are a few from a wedding in July. Stunning photographs courtesy of ASRPHOTO Portrait & Wedding Photography.
Following the wedding, the Bride’s Mother sent us this lovely email –
Just to say that the flowers on Saturday were absolutely perfect! They complemented the colours of the dresses and our garden by the sea beautifully. I have sent just a few photos to show you but there are many more lovely ones………
Many thanks to you and Clare and all the other girls”
Followed by an email from the Bride accompanying the photographs –
“As mum has previously said, thank you so much for our beautiful flowers. They were exactly what we envisaged and were really beautiful! I was quite sad to throw my bouquet!!”
If we have supplied your wedding this year and you have yet to send us some photographs please do so.
Lovely set up yesterday at the Tithe Barn in the grounds of Loseley Park, Nr Guildford, Surrey for the wedding of Michelle & Adam.
Michelle selected flowers in timeless shades of ivory and pale green which beautifully complimented the venue.
Wow, what a weekend – we supplied flowers to five weddings which equated to a total of 5 Bridal Bouquets, 16 Bridesmaid Bouquets, 45 Buttonholes and 10 Corsages not to mention more jam jars than we would care to count!! We had two set ups – the first at The Tournerbury Woods Estate and the second at Upwaltham Barns.
We have already received this lovely testimonial from Emily & Liam who were married at Upwaltham Barns on Saturday-
Hi Sally and Clare,
What can I say other than WOW!! The flowers were so amazing, everything we imagined and so much more 🙂 Especially the bouquets, just perfect!
Thank you for helping to make our day so special. We had so much fun 🙂
Sincerest thanks again
Emily and Liam x
We hope you enjoy the photographs we took during the set ups and the Brides have promised us more photos once they return from their honeymoons

This Sunday – 23rd March – we will also be exhibiting at the PMN Wedding Fayre at The Holiday Inn, Fareham so if you are planning to attend this event do drop by our stand.
Back in December we supplied the flowers for the wedding of the daughter of a long standing customer and friend of Bridal Flowers Direct. Following the wedding we received the following testimonial from Ailsa the Bride. As you will see from the photos it was a wonderfully happy day and the flowers complimented the colour scheme perfectly – contrary to popular belief it is possible to find flowers to tie in with teal!
I couldn’t recommend Sally and her team more highly. When I went for the planning visit, I had some idea of what I wanted and brought some examples of colours but Sally took it to a whole new level and I left so excited as I knew she had really understood what I wanted. When the flowers arrived they were stunning – and such perfect colours, they really made the day perfect. Thank you 🙂
We recently supplied the flowers for the wedding of Jo & Paul which took place at Hill Place in Swanmore and have just received this testimonial from Jo. Photos from this wedding to follow
Just a quick note to thank you so much for all our lovely flowers, there was enough for 3 large vases and they lasted ages.
The bouquet, buttonholes and corsages looked amazing.

Spring flowers were the choice for a wedding which took place at the Tithe Barn, Ditcham and, as you will see from the photos below, the colours truly reflected the first sunny Saturday in months.
