Recent Weddings

There are many delights to our work but the best part is working with lovely couples as they plan one of the most important days of their lives so it really is a pleasure when we receive thank you letters expressing their delight at the flowers we have supplied for their weddings. Below are just a few we have received in the past couple of weeks which we are extremely proud to share with you.

Sally,

What can I say! The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for all your time helping me and for helping on the day.

It was interesting getting to know a few different types of flowers and I will always think of you and your patience whenever I see the many flowers we discussed.

Warmest regards,
Anna

Dear  Clare and Sally

The flowers were magnificent and when I saw those huge boxes I wondered how we were going to use them all.  However, we did.  All that remained was some gyp and eucalyptus.  The blooms were much admired.  So thank you for all your efforts and organisation.  My friends did the pedestals and I did the arch and the matrix you created was really helpful in sorting out the flowers.

Thanks

Sally

Hi Sally,
Everything went well and the flowers were simply stunning!
Thanks Mr and Mrs D!
Sally,

Billy and I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the hard work you and your team put into our wedding flowers! We absolutely loved our day and the flowers just looked stunning. And thank you for surprising us with the flowers out on the terrace, this made the outside space that little bit more special 🙂

Hi Sally
Just a quick note to say thank you for our wedding flowers on Saturday. They were absolutely stunning and everyone thought so!
It was a very carefree process and you made it so easy.
I am currently admiring having a home full of flowers now 🙂
Thanks again

Winter Woodland Wedding

Our brief for Stephanie’s wedding at Farbridge last weekend was to create a look that gave the impression the flowers and foliage had all been sourced from a woodland setting. By combining white Syringa, Waxflower, Scabious Seedheads, Natural Birch and Pine Cones with Eucalyptus, Noble Fir and Ferns we were able to create arrangements which suited the ‘Winter Woodland’ theme perfectly. Whilst we designed and supplied the Bridal Party and Ceremony Room arrangements, the Bride and her Mother created their own venue arrangements using flowers and foliage bought from us.

July Wedding

Always lovely to receive photographs from our Brides and here are a few from a wedding in July. Stunning photographs courtesy of ASRPHOTO Portrait & Wedding Photography.

Following the wedding, the Bride’s Mother sent us this lovely email –

“Hello Sally

Just to say that the flowers on Saturday were absolutely perfect!  They complemented the colours of the dresses and our garden by the sea beautifully.  I have sent just a few photos to show you but there are many more lovely ones………

Many thanks to you and Clare and all the other girls”

Followed by an email from the Bride accompanying the photographs –

“As mum has previously said, thank you so much for our beautiful flowers. They were exactly what we envisaged and were really beautiful! I was quite sad to throw my bouquet!!”
If we have supplied your wedding this year and you have yet to send us some photographs please do so.

Wedding Photographs

We could not resist showing these lovely photographs from one of the weddings we supplied over the Bank holiday weekend. The Bride had chosen beautiful peonies and English grown Sweet Peas interspersed with Ammi for her bouquet. The wedding took place at a Sopley Mill near Christchurch in Dorset where the Bride arranged her own flowers in assorted vintage china using a combination of white Larkspur, purple Limonium, blue Delphinium, ivory Spray Roses, pink Phlox, Ammi, lilac Veronica, Tanacetum Daisies, mixed pastel shades of Sweet Peas and white and pale pink Peonies. Absolutely perfect for an afternoon tea themed reception in the English countryside. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Longley and wishing you both every future happiness
