Wales meets Australia Wedding Flowers

When you have a Welsh born Bride and an Australian born Groom getting married in the Spring, the perfect flower combination is Daffodils and Mimosa and this is exactly what we supplied for the wedding of Helen and Scott which took place at Ramster Hall, Chiddingfold, Surrey at the end of last week.

This was one of our weddings where we never actually met the Bride or the Groom but as they were very specific with their requirements, we were able to organise everything by email alone.

The end result was a stunningly simplistic display of flowers which had Spring written all over it and definitely proves that less can sometimes be more when it comes to wedding flowers.

Below are just a few of the photos we took of the bouquets and during the set up at the venue –

Southdowns Manor Wedding

We love these photographs sent into us by Kimberley and Josh who were recently married at Southdowns Manor, a stunning wedding venue set in the heart of the South Downs National Park on the Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex borders.

Kimberley had selected Tanacetum Daisies, Gypsophila, Craspedia and Alchemilla Mollis for all the Bouquets and Buttonholes with larger daisy style flowers being used for the Flower Girls  Headdresses and to decorate the cake.

Congratulations and every future happiness to the new Mr & Mrs Blackburn.

Titchfield Great Barn – Rustic Wedding Setting – Photoshoot

Earlier in the year we were delighted to take part in a photo shoot which took place in the grounds of Titchfield Great Barn, an up and coming wedding venue near Fareham, Hampshire. The photo shoot was a collaboration of local businesses working together to show case their own particular products or services as well as providing inspiration for anyone planning a similar themed wedding or event.

In keeping with the theme of the event – ‘Rustic, Spring, French Style’ we made a selection of bouquets and table arrangements in shades of yellow, cream and white. By combining Spray Roses, Stocks, Tanacetum Daisies, Craspedia and Gypsophila with lovely silver grey Eucalyptus leaves we were able to create arrangements which truly reflected both the theme of the photoshoot and the rustic setting of the Barn. We also supplied the bicycle props which looked stunning decorated with a selection of the same flowers as did all our vintage style bottles which when filled with flowers are always perfect for events at a setting such as this.

Whilst we have previously posted some of the photographs; below is a greater selection from those taken on the day and as we regrettably head closer to Autumn we thought the yellow colour palette would be a lovely reminder of long hot Summer days. The photographs are simply stunning and highlight the talented wedding suppliers this area has to offer.

Another collaborative photoshoot is planned in the next few weeks and whilst our lips are sealed on any further details I can assure you it will be equally as stunning ….. watch this space ……
